When I returned to the 'family home' after 7 years of freedom in medical school, I struggled to reconcile my own feelings. At once I felt strong and independent, and yet fragile and young again. I would find myself oscillating between fury at being infantilised by my parents and older brother, and resentful that I wasn't being 'care for' the way I used to be.

Livv helped me to realise that it was okay to have those feelings, whilst also illuminating the fact that in reality, by holding on to those resentments, I was only hurting myself.

I 'graduated' from the ILEAP pathway feeling able to recognise myself as the girl I had been at home, AND the confident, fully-qualified doctor I had become. My girlfriend was the first to recognise the difference in me, and it's really changed our relationship for the better.

I came to IP because I didn't know who I was when I wasn't achieving something. Every part of my life felt like a performance. Si & Livv, the two founders, helped me hear myself again - but in harmonious stereo, if that makes sense! I'm finally living as a while person, not a LinkedIn profile.
